CMEPEDIA creates the opportunity for you to write internationally accredited continuing education (CE) courses. We ensure efficient time management in the process. Therefore, we ask you to register your profile on CMEPEDIA, as this is the primary point of contact for checking the uptake of your courses when they are live. Our content partner, ACCRECENT, manages the process of developing, accrediting, and supporting your content.
Our collaboration on CMEPEDIA starts with completing a declaration of interest. We will review it and give you access to ACCRECENT after approval.
You can share your ideas with us in several ways:
Authorship is open to healthcare professionals, students, and patient representatives, as long as one physician is a co-author to meet accreditation criteria.
We do not support the production of duplicate content to ensure an economical use of our resources. If your topic is already covered, we will request that you submit an alternative proposal.
Supported by ACCRECENT
ACCRECENT will:
Peer review
We will match a peer reviewer to your course who is independent of your institute. The peer review will be done anonymously. However, when the course goes live, the profile of the peer reviewer will also be visible.
Track your live courses.
On CMEPEDIA, you will be able to:
Accredited content must remain unchanged during the accreditation period.
Renew our relationship when the accreditation expires
Course accreditation is valid for 2 years. We will contact you 18 months after publication to propose renewal or explain why renewal may not be pursued.
Expand your reach as an author.
CMEPEDIA and ACCRECENT plan to go global. To ensure cost-effectiveness, we may ask you to co-author your modules in other countries.
For example, you author a course on forensic DNA sampling. There is interest from Nepal to have a module on the same topic. You remain the main author of this course, as accurate methods of DNA sampling are similar in India and Nepal. Your Nepalese co-author will update the information on the Nepalese legal framework, and we will delete the content on the Indian legal framework.
